ANADOLU DEREAĞZI ROKETHANESİ
Karadeniz ve Boğaz bölgesinde seyreden gemilerden herhangi bir kaza anında can kurtarma amacıyla 1869 yılında kurulan Tahlisiye Teşkilatının bir unsuru olan rokethaneler; kaza riski taşıyan bölgelere ulaşım zorluğu nedeni ile kısa sürede müdahalede bulunmak amacıyla inşaa edilmiş olup; varagele olarak tabir edilen yöntemle can kurtarmaya yönelik karadan gemiye halat atmak için kullanılan halat ve roketlerin ve ayrıca kaza yerini bildirmek için kullanılan işaret fişeklerinin muhafaza edildiği yapılar olarak hizmet vermiş ve birçok deniz kazasına müdahalede kullanılmışlardır.
ANADOLU DEREAGZI ROCKET STATION
Rocket stations, which are an element of the rescue organization established in 1869 for the purpose of life-saving on ships navigating in the region of Black Sea and Strait at the time of accident; has been built to respond to the areas that are at risk of accident due to the difficulty of transportation in a short time. They were rendered services as a structure to keep the ropes and rockets used to throw lines to the ship from the land to rescue life with the method which is called as breeches buoy, as well as to keep the signal flares used to report the accident location. Rocket stations were used to respond to many marine accidents.
Günümüzde gelişen teknoloji ile birlikte tahlisiye hizmetlerinin deniz vasıtaları ile desteklanmesi ile rokethanelerin büyük bir kısmı hizmet dışı bırakılmış, tarihin bir simgesi olarak yeni işlevsellik verilerek kullanılabilen ve yaşatılan yapılar olarak devam etmeleri hedeflenmiştir.
Nowadays, a large part of rocket stations has been left out of service by developing technology and supporting of rescue services with marine vehicles, and they have been aimed to continue as the surviving structures which can be used by giving new functionality as a symbol of history.
Anadolu Dereağzı rokethanesi Şile tahlisiye istasyonuna bağlı bir rokethane olup; 2008 yılından bu yana yeni kullanım şekli ile bölge halkının dikkatini çekmiş ve denizciliğin bir parçası olan bu yapının denizcilik kültürünü ve tarihini tanıtan halkımızı denizcilikle birleştiren yepyeni özel bir görevi daha olmuştur.
Anadolu Dereagzi rocket station, which is within the scope of the Şile rescue station, has attracted the attention of the people of the region with its new usage since 2008 and this structure, which is a part of maritime, has undertaken a new special task as promoting maritime culture and history and as integrating our people with maritime.
